We hustled across New Mexico to meet up with the guy who looks after Norman Petty's recording studio in Clovis. Most of Buddy Holly's early hits were recorded here, among many others.


Buddy and his band made the 90 mile trip from Lubbock to Clovis dozens of times to work with the state-of-the-art equipment in Petty's studio like this original console.
