Another year, another car! Just keeping track of my new 2005 Ford Focus ZX3-SE here. This is the first new car I have purchased for myself since my '93 Civic VX, which was rear-ended on the 101 freeway in '95. Hoping to keep this one for many years to come, and upgrade components as funds allow.

October 19, 2007. Relaxing in North Carolina after an uneventful cross-country passage (2500+ miles)! Mileage now just shy of 27,000. Just loaded up a set of 205/50-15 Dunlop Direzzas. Think they look pretty swell and the car feels a lot more connected to the road now. Probably need to drop the car a couple inches tho since the wheels look like they are being swallowed up by the wells.
Only recent repair was a new reverse light switch. Other upgrades so far consist of aluminum Roush shift knob, chrome exhaust tip, and new floormats. Also, I flossed (de-badged) the rear hatch this morning. Now that this car is a few years old, they are starting to roll out some nice aftermarket parts for it. Planning to save some pennies for future upgrades as they come along...
