Rust in Pieces, Old Girl (In Loving Memory of Sybil)
Here lies the new and improved home page of Sybil, a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a mind of her own. Quite an improvment from the 1970 Torino she replaced.
Sybil was sold on 11/10/02 for $2000, the same price she was purchased for.
What the previous owner had to work with, when he bought her at an insurance auction sometime in 2000.
After I bought her, I tracked down the original owner (he had put his name in the owner's manual and still lived in the same area). This is the letter he sent back. He bought her when she was less than a year old, and owned her for over 30 years.
