ARINA FERDIG (GOULD)

As far as news from me, I married three years ago, as of this October. We are expecting our first child this September. At that point I plan to take some time off, as long as is allowed here. My husband works as a computer/chemical instruments technician for Agilent Technologies (formerly Hewlett Packard), which is how we met.
I haven't heard a whole lot about anyone since the short time I lived back home in Oak Park after graduating from MSU. While in college I worked for a company in Southfield called Down to Earth Lawn Spray and ran into Eric Welter there. I have no idea what he is up to now. I had some contact with Patty Rossi through classmates.com and she told me she works as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines and is or was living in Cincinatti, Ohio.
It seems that I heard through the years that Roger Martin and Micheal Weinstein passed away young with illnesses, but I heard that a long time ago. I can't believe I remember these names.
So what is up with you? Last I remember you were playing a guitar and dating Annette Ehren way back in High School days.
Well, I have to get going, I am long past when I would have liked to be going home. I will pass on more information if I think of anything.
Best of luck with the website.

I looked at the site and the pictures today. It looks the only kid whose name you don't know is the one next to John Meyers...that's the only one I don't know either. It may be that he didn't stay past that year or even finish that year, but I'm sure the school has records.
Here is some info I have:
It was about 10 years ago now, but last I knew Steve Rabakoff had a house painting business and was still in Oak Park.
Ricky Pliskow still comes in the Oak Park Library where my mom works and is married with kids, although I can't remember now if he said he lives in Southfield or Oak Park.
Neal B., the first picture top left, used to live across the street from me. Last I knew he was working as a hairdresser in the West Bloomfield/Farmington area.
Sadly, years and years ago, maybe even while still in high school I heard that Andrea Rochman and her mother had moved to California and that she had committed suicide. Since I no longer remember who told me (it may have come thru Mom at the Library also) I can't say for sure.
I ran into Kim Wright when I worked for an eyeglass company called NuVison when I was just out of college, about 8 years ago, and she was a store manager at the time. The company has since been bought by Pearl Vision, but she may still be in the Novi area.
My mom mentioned that Doug Doig had stopped in the library and asked about me, but even that was 5 years ago. I think he had been in the military and was considering college. Gosh memory definitely fades with age, although the old stuff like names of elementary school mates and teachers seems to stick forever.
Wish I had more direct connections to help out, but living in the Lansing area, I really don't see any of these folks anymore.
By the way it is interesting that you wound up in L.A. My sister Bonnie just moved there two years ago and loves it. I like it here, but it is fun to have a cool place to visit. I have attached the picture I mentioned before. Best of luck. If I hear any more, I will let you know. Somehow people seem to know my mom at the library and say hello, I just never kept track before.

Hi Robert, I am at home right now on maternity leave so I don't look at my e-mail or the web very often right now. The new baby keeps me hopping! Anyway, I will check out how the website is going as I can...hope you are having fun with it. Later!

All is well here and I am definitely enjoying watching my infant grow and learn. He is 8 months now and already crawling, pulling himself up, and trying to walk.
Hope all is well...enjoy the California sun.
